Dr. Joseph McCoy is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon in private practice in Napa, CA since 1988. He is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Biology. Dr. McCoy received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in 1982 and completed his Surgical Internship and General Surgery training at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco, CA., completing his General Surgery Training in San Francisco in 1988.
His practice focuses on arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and the knee as well as conservative management of spine injuries. Spine care represents approximately 40% of his practice with a primary focus on avoiding the need for surgical intervention. He also has extensive experience in medical-legal matters, including conflict resolution and trial and deposition experience.
Dr. McCoy is a co-founder of Performance Health Systems, the company that developed the bioDensity system that is part of the BStrong4Life® model. He helped develop the PHS prototype and is a co-inventor on the original bioDensity patent. Dr. McCoy states “Our goal is to provide an efficient way to maintain good strength throughout your adult years while providing a pathway to fall prevention and minimizing the risks of osteoporosis, with an overall goal of maximizing an individual’s sense of well-being.”
Dr. Olson is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist. While managing the practice with the medical director, he is also a clinical assistant professor at Loyola University. Senior residents train at the Women’s Center for Health under his supervision in office-based procedures, family planning, and the Essure procedure (in-office sterilization). In addition to his private practice, he sits on two advisor panels and preceptors for several medical product companies. This has lead to a busy travel schedule lecturing to doctors throughout the country in the use of new surgical technologies.
Prior to joining the Women’s Center for Health, Dr. Olson spent two years in private practice performing gynecologic cancer surgery with a gyn. Oncologist. His two-year surgical internship at the University of Iowa’s affiliated program in Des Moines prepared him for this transition. He served as Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center in obstetrics and gynecology and earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 1986. Dr. Olson received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1982. He currently resides in Naperville with his wife, and daughter.
Since 2005, Wain has served as Senior Vice President for Asia, at IHS Inc. bringing more than twenty-five years of sales and sales executive experience. He is responsible for strategic direction of sales, channels, marketing and technical support within Asia and Australia/New Zealand. Prior to joining IHS, Wain held the position of Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales for Commerce One.
Wain began his career at International Business Machines (IBM) and over an eight year span held a number of sales and marketing positions. He has been a District Manager for the Oracle Corporation and then went on to become the Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Operations for Sybase, Inc.
Wain earned a BS degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of San Francisco (USF).
With 3 decades’ experience in major corporate and branding programs, Mike Purvis acts as a strategic branding and identity consultant to a variety of companies. He specializes in “brand or corporate identity design,” a means of building added asset value for products, services, and corporations through:
“the creation of the temporary and permanent media elements/systems used tovisually and verbally represent a brand or corporation to multiple audiences in a variety of media”
Initially trained as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble, Mike has worked in senior advertising agency management at Foote Cone & Belding, and later as general manager of a winery (now called Rodney Strong). For the past 30 years he has directed the development of corporate identity and branding programs for major companies in the retail banking, health care, fast foods, wineries, and the gaming and hotel industries.
His work includes the development of national programs for brands like Citibank, Holiday Inn, Harrah’s, Embassy Suites, First Tennessee Bank, CareMax Pharmacies for McKesson Corp., Mrs. Fields Cookies, Long John Silver’s and Gaylord Hotels, the Grand Ole Opry, as well as programs for start ups and small cap companies like bd’s Mongolian Grill, Conceptus (Essure permanent contraception procedure), Dendreon Corporation (biotechnical cancer procedures), B. Brooks Fine Flowers (an international florist network), Select Registry, an association of high end inns and B&B’s, and the Lark Creek Restaurant Group, an upscale northern California restaurant management company .
He has also managed the development of advertising and strategic marketing programs for wine brands like Franzia, Corbett Canyon and Quady Wine’s new Vya vermouth.
Mike has served as president and senior partner of two of the largest identity design firms in the U.S. (S&O Consultants, now Addison and SBG Partners, now Enterprise IG) during this period. He has acted as an independent consultant under the MFP Consultants banner since 1992.
Craig Schrader and the Schrader Family own and operate McDonalds of San Joaquin County. Carrying on the family McDonald’s business from his father Don, Craig has been involved in all facets of franchise management for the past 30 years and has served an integral role in the daily operation of the company.
Craig is a co-founder of Performance Health Systems, the company that developed the bioDensity technology, and was involved in early stage development. Craig is also a founding member and serves as a trustee for the California Restaurant Mutual Benefit Corporation. Craig and the Schrader family have contributed tremendously to the well being of the Stockton community.
